London – The auditions for the Italian song festival, La Vela d’Oro, are now open. The festival, now at its 33 rd. edition, has the objective of sourcing and promoting emerging singers on the Italian music scene.

The first classified shall be given the opportunity to produce an original track complete with musical
arrangement and lyrics to be presented by a music label at the Festival of Sanremo in the section
New Talents, the making of a professional video and distribution in the main digital stores.

The final will be held on the 11 th August 2018 in the charming seaside village of Stazzo – Acireale,
where the finalists will perform live, accompanied by an orchestra of 25 elements.

The panel of judges includes, discographic producer and conductor of the orchestra at the Festival of
Sanremo, Umberto Iervolino. Head of the discographic promoting agency, Music Consulting and
Communication, Alex La Gamba.

Artist and founder of the Babilonia Project and collaborator of the
Finelco Group, which includes the most important radio networks in Italy, Massimo Giunta.

Administrator at Believe Digital Italia, Luca Stante. Singer and songwriter for Alexia, Ornella Vanoni,
Raphael Gualazzi and Laura Pausini, Lorenzo Vizzini.

The evening will be conducted by journalist and television presenter, Salvo La Rosa, with Delfo Raciti
as the artistic director. It will be possible to follow the event in live streaming on the facebook page
of Vela d’ Oro and on the facebook page of London One Radio.
